"Rustyfish is a crude, raw communication system. It is an interface of unapologetic and unfiltered creative impulse."
The main reason for the establishment of the magazine is to throw away limiting notions of traditional structure and narrative and celebrate the unexpected, lightning-in-a-bottle quality of impulsive creative work. We want to explore alternative aesthetic dimensions. We want to venture down these rabbit holes without a flashlight, just blindly feeling our way around, hoping that, with any luck, we might strike gold.
As part of this project, we have created a 130-page magazine, website, posters, and many other Rustyfish-related designs. The first magazine issue is a collection of variuous artworks made by the team and contributors from around the world.
