The publication text is a testimony of his partner. Together they went to the russian-sieged city of Mariupol, Ukraine, where Mantas was detained by the russian forces and subsequently killed. They went there to bring humanitarian aid and work on the documental movie about life at war, Mantas released “Mariupol” movie in 2016, when the city was temporarily captured by the Russian-led separatists, and wanted to create a second part.
